Our emphasis on mentoring continues with Super Saturday Kid’s Krusade. From October through December we bus in over 150 children every Saturday from drug-infested communities on Long Island to Freedom Outreach for fun, free give-a-ways, lunch, and the Gospel. Using puppets, games, and interactive activities to provide life skills training and God’s love, we sponsored a special Christmas event where we gave away over 125 bikes and Christmas stockings with toys and candy to over 350 precious children.
Royal Rangers ministers to boys in the United States and in over 65 countries through Bible study and memorization, devotionals, and Christian role models. Boys are strengthened:
- Mentally by a merit-based advancement program
- Physically by participation in age-specific activities and recreation, and
- Socially through church and community service activities.
- Spiritually through Bible study and devotions.
Dedicated leaders provide direction during weekly outpost meetings in the local church, which are designed to develop the total boy for Christ. Royal Rangers Men are to be trained to mentor young men in Christ like manhood; young men will be empowered to assume leadership of Royal Rangers, making it a boy-led, adult-facilitated ministry. It is our desire to reach every boy and young man by creative methods; every Ranger will be eager to serve a God-given cause that is greater than self.
This program is similar to the Girl Scout program and it is for girls ages
6-11. In this program they earn their badges and do crafts and things relating to
that field. It is also a biblically based program that teaches them the Word of
God. It is a program for winning girls to Jesus Christ through love and acceptance. It develops young girls into women of virtue.
